Mighty Father, Lord of All, grant me strength in you. For I am weak, but you are strong. I am not enough to face all that’s before me. I am not strong enough on my own for the trials ahead. Yet, in you I am strong. Your strength and power is all I need. Fill me with more of you, so that I can face my trials and fears with strength and confidence in you. Amen.
9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
